Details

Bring a sandwich and we'll have lunch at one of the picnic tables in the park.
Then we'll take a hike of 2.5 miles along Steamboat Creek.
Discover trails and learn about nature and geology in and around
the Truckee Meadows.

The weather is predicted to be chilly (40's) so dress warmly.
There is a small chance of rain so an umbrella might be helpful as well as waterproof boots.
DL (Dogs limited).
Elevation gain up to 20 ft. Easy.

Since this is a Sierra Club hike, we ask you to sign our liability waiver before the hike and donate $1 to help cover First Aid Training for all our leaders.
