Come join us this Saturday at 11am at Davis Creek Regional Park to water the trees we planted last year! These saplings need us to show them some love during this heatwave.

The Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter has recently formally adopted this beautiful park. This is part of our ongoing efforts to revegetate Davis Creek Park and Campground after the 2024 Davis Creek Fire. Last year Sierra Club members in partnership with KTMB and Washoe County Parks and Open Spaces planted 150 pine saplings. These saplings need support and water to get them through these high temperatures. Snacks and water will be provided. We ask that volunteers wear closed toed shoes and be prepared for warm weather.

We will meet at the parking lot directly across from the ranger station. Follow signage.
