April Program Meeting

The April program meeting of the Sierra Club Great Basin Group will be on Thursday, April 9, at UNR’s Innevation Center In Reno.
The topic:
"My journey into the (deep) Ocean: beauty and threats."
presented by Dr. Elisa Baldrighi.

The doors will open at 6:30 for socializing, and the hour-long program will begin at 7 PM.

The Innevation Center is located at 450 Sinclair St, Reno, NV 89501.

Dr. Baldrighi, a research professor in the Department of Biology at UNR, will present an overview of some of the main threats destroying the Ocean, and particularly the deep sea. She will talk about marine pollution, marine exploitation, and biodiversity loss. She will bring us through these topics using her life's journey as a marine biologist.
