Join us as we paddle the Narramissic River, launching across from the Orland United Methodist Church.
This is a very easy, slow-moving river. The scenery ranges from pastoral to wilderness wetlands and there are usually a variety of wading birds to be seen. We will also explore one of the river's winding tributaries.
There is sufficient parking right next to the river at our launch area. There are no restrooms available.

Dress sensibly for the environment. Layer your clothing relative to temperature, wearing wool and synthetics, cotton does not retain warmth when wet.
Bring a hat, something to drink and a snack.
We will paddle at a moderate pace. Arrive at 9:00 am, we will begin the paddle at 9:30 am. Wearing your PFD with a whistle is required.
This outing will be about 2.5 hours in duration.
