Spring Ephemerals Walk

Join us on a short walk (less than 1/2 mile) to see spring ephemerals (e.g., Bloodroot, Red Trillium, Jack in the Pulpit, Trout Lily, etc.), insects, and amphibians near the Connecticut River. We will also visit a couple of waterfalls nearby. The walk will be guided by a forest specialist with deep knowledge of the area’s floral and fauna.

Please bring a jacket in case the weather is cold or inclement. Also, have sunscreen and a hat; bring a lunch/snack plus water; and wear long pants and shirt for insect protection.

The event will be held rain or shine, but may be altered due to inclement weather.
