ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE / ENVIRONMENTAL RACISM

Location of industry and infrastructure, exposure to environmental pollution, neglect of nearby recreational areas - these are some manifestations of environmental injustice that disproportionately affect marginalized communities, especially those with people of color.
Lauren Hurley, of Tennessee Democracy Network, will provide some historical examples from Chattanooga and the status of what is being done to address current situations. Q&A session will follow. Always FREE and ALL are welcome!
