Sierra Club Military Outdoors - YMCA Camp Retreat

This is a Sierra Club Military Outdoors event. It is only for all those who have served in the military and their spouses.
Join us AT NO COST for a weekend of camp fun. You will enjoy taking part in camp activities of your choice, such as canoeing, archery, rifle range, ropes course, hiking, zipline, barn visits. Or just hang out!
This is an opportunity for a memorable retreat and a chance for you to relax and become a kid again! Ages 18 and older only, please. You'll get a complimentary camo tote and camp map.
RSVP here on Meetup, but you must REGISTER with the camp by Oct 10th. See below.
Schedule:
- Check in on Friday, Oct 17 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm
- An optional casual dinner will be available at 7:00 pm (You must RSVP for this dinner.)
- Unpack and get settled in your assigned cabin (males and females), enjoy the optional dinner, and then have s'mores at our evening campfire.
- Tent camping will be available, if preferred, but you must bring your own tent and camping equipment.
- Have breakfast Sat morning around 9:00 am
- Enjoy the activities of your choice on Saturday from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm (Official schedule to be provided soon)
- Pause for lunch at 12:00 pm
- Check out by 5:00 pm on Saturday
Bring:
- Twin-size bedding, toiletries, swimwear, change of clothes as desired, sneakers/closed-toed shoes, hat, sunglasses, bug spray and sunscreen.
- You may bring your own lawn chair, if you want.
- Bring Photo ID.

When registering on the Camp website, select "Private Events" then "Sierra Club Veteran Weekend"
- A $25 deposit per person is required upon registration and will be refunded to you only upon camp check-in.
Saturday Only:
Participants may also join the fun on Saturday-only but will need to select that option on the registration form. If you are joining us for Saturday only, check-in will be open at 8:00 am in the dining hall.
