Mommy and Me Nature Walk

Join us for a special Mommy & Me Nature Walk hosted by the Nassau County Sierra Club on August 9th! We’ll meet at Pirate Park at 9:00 AM to take a gentle stroll along the Greenway, inviting little ones to explore the natural world by collecting sticks, leaves, flowers, and other treasures that catch their eye. Our walk will end at the park, where we’ll gather under the shade of the oak trees and turn our nature finds into imaginative art. This is a fun and mindful way to connect with your child, enjoy the outdoors, and spark creativity—all while learning to appreciate the beauty of our environment.
