Most of the trail is flat and easy, but there is a .75 mile moderately difficult section with hilly terrain. Trekking poles will help.

Bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen. No pets (service dogs OK). OK for older kids who can keep up with adults.
HOW TO GET THERE:
We’ll meet at the Dunns Farm/Powell Ford Rd trailhead.
Follow these directions:
- Take Blanding Blvd/US 21 south into Middleburg. Turn right on CR 218 and drive about 4.3 miles.
- Turn right on to Nolan Rd and go 2.3 miles to the Jennings Forest sign.
- Drive 1 mile on the dirt road (DO NOT turn right on Ellis Ford Road!) to the trailhead parking on the left. Look for the Sierra Club sign.
Sierra Club maintains a safe space agreement between participants, leaders, volunteers, and staff. We want to support everyone in exploring, enjoying, and protecting our natural environment, and hateful and dangerous behavior will not be tolerated. We don’t want to deny participation in these outdoor programs and we will always say no to racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, impairment, and disruption.
