Emerald Trail Cleanup - Hogans Creek #5

Not a Sierra Club event, but we're teaming with Groundwork Jacksonville for cleanup along Hogans Creek.

Let's do a trash cleanup along Hogans Creek in downtown Jacksonville.

We will clean the section from the East Beaver St south to East Church St.

I will provide trash grabbers and bags. Please bring: water, gloves.

You will be required to sign a City of Jacksonville liability waiver.

Groundwork Jacksonville is the city’s primary nonprofit organization specifically created to clean and redevelop Jacksonville's Emerald Trail and convert contaminated land into parks, playgrounds, trails, and other public green space.

DIRECTIONS: Meet and park along the end of East Beaver St just south of the Arlington Expressway. Look for the Sierra Club sign. See red circled area on Meetup map.
