Not a Sierra Club event, but we're teaming with Groundwork Jacksonville for cleanup along Hogans Creek.
Let's help with a trash cleanup along Hogans Creek in downtown Jacksonville.
We will clean about a one mile section from W. 6th St/Jefferson down to Pearl St. and back.
GWJ will provide trash grabbers, gloves, and bags. Please bring: water, bug repellent.
You will be required to sign a City of Jacksonville liability waiver.
Groundwork Jacksonville is the city’s primary nonprofit organization specifically created to clean and redevelop Jacksonville's Emerald Trail and convert contaminated land into parks, playgrounds, trails, and other public green space.
DIRECTIONS: Meet and park at the lot on W. 6th Street just east of Jefferson.
Take I-95 north through Jax. Exit at 8th Street (Exit 353D). Turn right (east) on 8th St. Turn right (south) on Jefferson St., then left on W. 6th St.
