IRONMAN Jacksonville brings a bold new challenge to Florida’s Atlantic coast — in a city known for its athletic spirit, vibrant culture, and deep community pride. This scenic course blends fast-paced urban roads with the breezy rhythm of the St. Johns River, offering a race experience that’s as dynamic as it is rewarding.

ORGANIZERS NEED HELP! There are about 1500 shifts that still need to be filled - registrations, food/drink stations, helping participants transition from one event to the next for the bike, run, and swimming events. No special experience is needed for these positions.
They especially need kayakers along the swim route:
Swim Course: Kayak
Volunteers will be spread out along the swim course in the river to watch swimmers. Be balanced in your skills in case an athlete needs to rest, catch their breath, or adjust their googles. You can't move forward but are allowed to offer assistance. Due to the current in the river, SUPs cannot be used.
If you have your own kayak, please bring it with you to use.
