If you live in Somers or Yorktown, you probably get water from the Amawalk Reservoir. Granite Pointe, a peninsula in the Amawalk, is slated for development by construction of 23 upscale houses. Approval of the development is being considered at a meeting of the Somers Town Board Thursday, July 10. at 7pm, at SomersTown House (Elephant Hotel), 335 Rt. 202, Somers, NY 10589.
