'Ridge Ender' Legacy Forest Walk w/ Center for Responsible Forestry

This hike is organized by our friends at the Center for Responsible Forestry, who will guide you on a walk through "Ridge Ender", an upcoming timber sale with examples of mature legacy forest that the local community is working to save. On this outing you will learn about CRFs work to end clear cutting of mature forests, and the tools communities can use to fight back against unsustainable timber sales.

Trail conditions: Note that exploring legacy forests like this can be a bit different from a regular hike. It requires walking off trail, a bit of bushwacking, and can be steep at times.

Bring: shoes good for hiking, layers, long pants, hiking poles, water bottle, snacks, and anything else you need to be comfortable outside!
