Volunteer for Rappahannock Education Farm, Stafford, VA

We will be volunteering for the Rappahannock Education Farm in south Stafford County. The REF is a non-profit Farm that grows produce to support local food pantries and our Food Bank. It is also a teaching farm that instructs volunteers of all abilities and ages the benefits of sustainable earth-friendly farming techniques. Be ready to get a bit dirty as we will be planting and maintaining beds of vegetables and flowers.

We will meet at the Farm at 9:30am. REF is located on Rt 218 (White Oak Road) about 4 miles east of Falmouth. Turn right on First Street (a small gravel road just past Shauns Lane) and the Farm is 100yds down the road. Lunch at El Patron Mexican Restaurant (316 White Oak Road) after our gardening. I hope you can join us!

As usual these Outings are free and open to the public. Invite your friends! Minors must be accompanied by a parent. No animals please.
