Our next Outing will be a four mile hike (two miles out and two miles back) through Voorhees Nature Preserve in Westmoreland County. I scouted this hike last week and it is a beautiful area along the Rappahannock River. The trail includes a couple of steep hills and uneven terrain making for a sometimes strenuous hike, but it is well worth the effort.

We will meet at 10:00am at Voorhees Nature Preserve, 322 Bristol Mine Rd, Colonial Beach 22443. Parking is limited, so carpooling is recommended. If you're coming from Fredericksburg, carpoolers will meet at the Ferry Farm Walmart on Rt. 3 in Stafford County. Lunch plans at Backporch Vineyards.

I hope you can join us! As usual these Outings are free and open to the public. Invite your friends! Minors must be accompanied by a parent. No animals please.
