Come see how biosolids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant are blended with other components and turned into compost. We will be able to see the large Scarab machine turn the windrows inside out to aerate them. Register by May 12.

From South: take I 40 West to Atrisco Vista Blvd exit. Go right (north) about 3.5 mi. to Jim McDowell Rd. (before Double Eagle Airport). Turn left (west) and go about 1.7 mi. to sign for the composting facility. Turn right (north) and go to the end.From North: take Paseo del Norte west until it bends left (south) and turns into Atrisco Vista Blvd. Continue south until just past Double Eagle Airport. Turn right (west) onto Jim McDowell Rd.
