Welcome to the beautiful South Valley! Durand Open Space provides excellent access to forest paths and river views. Well do a 2 mile loop and then take a break at the covered picnic area. Lets meet at the Durand parking lot by 9:55 a.m. No dogs please.

Additional Directions: The walk will be over flat. terrain that is shaded but there may be trip hazards such as tree roots. Good walking shoes, a walking stick if you use, a hat, water, snack and suncreen are recommended. We'll take time to learn about our bosque and then have a snack after.
