Let's do a new trail! (relatively new to me anyway). I'm excited about a trail I hiked recently- Sandia vista, Doe Run, Canyon & Sierra Vista Loop. this hike is about 6 miles long, 1000 ft elevation change, but the ups & downs are relatively smooth and this hike was very pleasant. this is out at Gutierrez Canyon Open Space in Cedar Crest, and the parking lot is next to Rumors Brewing & Pizza (hint!)

Bring at least a liter of water per person, good boots, hat, snacks & lunch. No dogs, Children 13 & over are welcome

Additional driving directions: take i40 east from ABQ. Exit 170 for 333 towards Cedar Crest. drive approx 9 miles north and take a right just after cabra's coffee. (road name is arroyo seco but i'm not sure it has a sign). drive less than a 1/2 mile and Rumors Pizza will be on your right, the open space parking lot on your left.
