Hike Ellis trailhead to tram on crest trail. April 18, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Let's do a 3 mile moderate hike in the Sandia mountains. Starting from Ellis Trailhead, heading up switchback, around the kiwani's meadow to the tram along the Sandia crest trail. We will have lunch at Ten 3 and then hike back to Ellis trailhead. This is a pretty trail and we will have views of Albuquerque, Manzano, Jemez and Sangre de Cristo mountains. Bring water, snack, hiking boots, sun gear. Contact leader for approval beforehand for children under 13. No dogs. Exact trail at the discretion of the hike leader.
