Clean Up at Spring Mountain Ranch Sunday Nov. 9th!

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is hosting the annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival on Saturday the 8th at the park (Look for our table there!). We are helping by volunteering to help clean up trash in the park the next day! Please join us! We will clean up the area where the festival is to be held, and anywhere else as capacity allows! The park has generously offered to provide our volunteers with a personal tour of the farm house afterwards; there is some interesting history there and its worth a visit! When we are all done we will gather for a bring-your-own sack lunch picnic; drinks are on us! All are welcome, including families, and we hope you will come have some fun and do some good with us! You don't have to be a Sierra Club member to join any of our events, but we would love it if you did join our group!

Please meet us in the Group/Events area (where the summer plays are held). There is no charge for this event, obviously, but there is a fee to enter the park unless you have a pass. Bring gloves, hat, sunscreen, a "grabber" if you have one (we will provide some), water, and a sack lunch if you wish to join us for a group picnic. Feel free to bring goodies to share as well! Let's give back to this beautiful park!
