Florida Speleological Society Cave Trip

Join the Suwannee-St.Johns Sierra Club and the Florida Speleological Society for a beginner-friendly underground adventure at the Harvey Sharron Bat Cave, located midway between Newberry and High Springs.
Explore at your own pace, descending about 30 feet through a spiral stairwell into Florida's fascinating karst geology.
Bring gardening gloves, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and a helmet if you have one (we'll have some available). A headlamp, elbow/knee pads, and a change of clothes are also recommended. Meet-up location will be forwarded to registrants.
