Hiking Northeast Ford Ord Loop
Fort Ord National Monument, 663 Monterey- Salinas Highway, Salinas, CA, USFeeling spontaneous? Hello everyone I'm back. Sorry for the short notice but I wasn't sure I could make this. One of my souvenirs was a tremendously awful Peruvian Covidfluplaugecold. All better now and needing some fresh air and wide open spaces.
Fort Ord is a great place to get away from it all. The National Monument has incredible views, trees, ponds, wildlife and wide open spaces.
The loop is about 7.2 miles with 958 feet of elevation. There are multiple trails back if you want a shorter trip. It should take about 3.5 hours.
We will meet at the picnic table on west side of Creekside Terrace Trailhead parking lot.
