Wildflower hunt at Willow Ridge, Pacheco Creek Trail, and Colt Ridge Loop
Details
Details: Adventure time! It is the perfect time to head to Henry W. Coe State park. Everything is still green, the wildflowers are coming out and it’s not blazing hot yet. Half the elevation change of last week's hike but a little bit longer. It will be a beautiful day of lakes, streams, panoramic views and wildflowers. Better bring a lunch or hearty snacks. It is a little bit farther than we usually go but very much worth the extra half hour drive. Next month it will all be brown and hot so better go now. There is a fee of $8 at the entrance and the road is well maintained dirt. If anyone wants a ride from the entrance let me know. I can fit four.
