Stream Sampling at Shepherd of the Hills State Park
Details
Have you ever wondered about the many tiny creatures living in our Ozark Streams? The White River Group of the Sierra Club is going to help collect and count all kinds of aquatic macro invertebrates, such as snails and crayfish, at Shepherd of the Hills State Park on Saturday, June 20.
Shepherd of the Hills State Park is one of our newest state parks, purchased in 2016 and working towards opening to the public. Sierra Club members are playing a critical role in the parks protection through activism and advocacy. This outing will give participants a sneak peek at this beautiful new park - plus we will be helping with important research.
This event is hosted by Sierra Club which is not affiliated with MeetUp. While this listing is posted on MeetUp for visibility, official registration must be completed through our website.
