Summer Writer's Retreat By The Pond!

What could be more inspiring than a day at the pond with your fellow creative writers! We'll start the day with a hike around the land, getting a feel for our surroundings and keeping our eyes and hearts open for our "perfect writing spot". Then we'll have an interactive activity, and sharing passages from either our own personal work or from our most loved books. You are welcome to bring prompts to share before a long silent writing session, at least an hour, and sharing what we've come up with. Time for swimming, paddleboarding and meandering through the forest will be included. Bring a pot-luck dish to share for us to graze on throughout the day.
Bring your writing tools; a favorite passage to read; a dish to share; water to drink; comfortable walking shoes; bathing suit; chair, blanket or towel; sunscreen, and a change of clothes for when it gets shady and cool.
Rain Date: Sunday, July 24th, 11 - 5.
At least six people needed for this event to take place. RSVP early!
