Coastal Bluffs at Wilder Ranch

4.5 miles, 175’ elevation gain

Hello Coastal Walkers! We're leading a wonderful walk for your souls along the ocean bluffs to soak in this photogenic scenery.

We’ll start at the main parking lot, then head over to the ocean. At 3-Mile Beach we’ll go down to the sand as our lunch spot. Return route will follow the train tracks back to the parking lot.

Bring water, lunch, sun hat, and clothes for variable weather. Restrooms at trailhead.

Since this is a Sierra Club hike, you must complete and carry with you a paper copy of the Local Outings Medical Form and sign a Liability Waiver at the trailhead.

Directions: Take Hwy 17 south to Santa Cruz, then right onto CA – 1N/Mission St. for 3.8 miles. Watch for the park sign and turn left at Coast Rd. Park fee is $10 for most folks, $9 if you’re 62 years or older. No fee if you have a Golden Poppy Annual Pass.
