Bike Clean & Fix It Day

Time for a bi monthly kids bike fix & clean days at Ventura Bike HUB ! We have bikes that need cleaning and light mechanical work. During the year and particularly at the end of the year these bikes are donated to needy families. This is the perfect way to fight climate change, get kids outdoors with a healthy lifestyle and grow future enviros.

Everyone welcome; basic mechanic experience helpful but not necessary. Cleaning, bleaching, rust removal etc., and you are welcome to learn some mechanical skills too. A knowledgeable mechanic will be on hand to help with advanced stuff. All tools, parts and work gloves provided. Your clothes will get dirty, oily, and maybe even splashed with bleach! Dress accordingly.

Kids who can help work on bikes welcome ACCOMPANIED BY RESPONSIBLE ADULT at all times. Please no pets.

Bike HUB is the non profit shop for Bike Ventura County, BVC. Their goal is getting people of all ages, backgrounds and economic status on ZERO EMISSION transportation. They are a 'do it together' bike repair shop, teaching folks how to ride safely, and sell every part imaginable as well as fully refurbished second hand bikes.
