This Land is Your Land - Or Is It?

Russell Galipeau will take us back in time to the establishment of Federal Lands. He will discuss the role Congress and the President play in their survival, and the agencies we have entrusted to care and preserve them. He will also dive
into the threats they face under the current administration and what we can do about it!
Russell worked for the National Park Service from 1978-2018 when he retired from the position of Superintendent, Channel Islands National Park. He currently serves on the Expert Assessment Group for Green List as a part time
professor at Cal State University, and is Vice President on the Board of Directors for Ventura Land Trust.
