Backpack Honey Creek Loop in the Big South Fork

The hike is from Jan. 18 through Jan. 20 2025 (Martin King Weekend). We meet at my house (7291 Ridge Rd.) and carpool from there. The hike will start and end at Leatherwood Ford. From there we hike 4-5 miles to the Honey Creek Loop (this trail does not show up on older maps) and base camp. Sunday we day hike the loop and hike out on Monday. Honey Creek loop is a strenuous hike, but we will be without packs.
