Art Museum Free Tour: The Art of the Bike

We will take a free docent led tour of the bicycle exhibit at the Cincinnati Art Museum, 953 Eden Park Drive. Entry to the museum and the tour is free at this time and date. Parking is also free.

Meet at the museum entrance lobby for the tour at 615 pm. The tour starts promptly at 6:30. Some of us are planning to arrive at 430 pm to avoid traffic and enjoy other aspects of the museum. Please comment below if you would like to do this and we will wait for you in the lobby at 430 pm.

Gear up to see a cast iron velocipede designed in the mid-1800s, a 1901 Wolff-American Ice Bicycle engineered to traverse a frozen course, a seafoam green 1950s Huffy Radiobike designed so riders could cruise to their tunes of choice, and Pee-Wee Herman’s customized 1953 Schwinn DX Cruiser starring in Tim Burton’s 1985 film, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.
