Coal Plant Tour II

Join Sierra Club Miami Group for a tour of the Miami Fort Generating Station, a working coal-fired power plant. Our first tour of this facility filled up quickly, with a long waiting list, so we've decided to open up a second session. How best to generate electricity is a hot topic in today's society. Coal? Gas? Wind? Solar? The next time this topic comes up, be the only one in the room who has seen a coal plant in operation. It will be fun and educational.

Sturdy closed-toe shoes are required. Other safety equipment will be provided.
