Sierra Club Miami Group Educational Forum is pleased to welcome Bob Gedert, Past President National Recycling Coalition and author of his new book – “Untangling Plastics”
Bob’s new book “Untangling Plastics,” is a comprehensive investigation of the manufacturing, proliferation, and disposal of plastics – their harmful impacts on the environmental and human health. The author draws from his forty-five-year career in the recycling industry and his recent research to reveal the misguided mindsets that have led the movement for sustainability.
In his talk Bob will explain how consumers have actually been complicit in causing these harmful impacts. How can we untangle ourselves from our plastic habit and adopt greener ways of living?
