Mt. Airy Forest Evening hike

Come join us on a mild hike through a section of Mount Airy Forest. There are many beautiful trees along the way. The path is relatively flat, but there are a lot of tree roots. Sturdy shoes are encouraged. The hike duration is about an hour.

We’ll meet at the oval on Ridge Road, near the electrical tower and the outdoor bathroom building. We’ll have a large Sierra Club banner so we’ll be easy to spot. Parking along the oval is available. We’ll gather at 6:00 and hope to takeoff about 6:15, once the Sierra Club waiver is signed.

Dinner in the area will follow for all who wish to join.
