Stretching from Springer Mountain Georgia to Mount Katahdin Maine, the 2,200 mile long Appalachian National Scenic Trail Trail is the most famous long distance trail in America. The always popular Appalachian Trail Festival includes many outdoor organizations, roundtable discussions with Appalachian Trail thru hikers, outdoor activities, art displays, outdoor gear sales, guest speakers, food vendors, and live music including Sean McCartney and the bluegrass band Rock Creek Revival.
