Silence of the Pen's Quiet Writing - Marrickville Library

Dear Writers

Please join us for two hours of companionable, quiet, day-time writing at the Marrickville Library, and meet some fellow writers. We welcome novelists, short-story writers, bloggers, academics and students, poets, playwrights, essayists, etc. It's two hours of quiet writing with a break in the middle for a chat and to meet each other. We can also chat beforehand and afterwards if people are feeling social.

The group is supported by the Marrickville Library, and we have table reserved for us in the Youth Area, which is on the level directly above the main entrance desk. The library is an excellent venue, with lots of light and space, and a nice cafe as well.

Feel free to bring a coffee, or duck down to the cafe for a coffee/brunch at the mid-way point if you like.
