Holiday Book Swap @Liquid Mechanics

Happy Holidays Bibliophiles! We will have just one more event for the rest of the year. Please join us for a holiday book swap on Monday, December 7, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co in Lafayette, followed by our regular programming!

To participate in the book swap, please bring a wrapped new or gently used book with the genre and one sentence about why you liked it (or want to read it) written on the wrapping. We'll exchange books through a game of White Elephant.

Feel free to join us around 6:15pm if you don't want to participate in the swap. After our book swap: we'll kick things off by sharing what we're currently reading (no pressure, just good conversation!), then settle into 50 minutes of uninterrupted quiet reading time. After that, feel free to stick around, chat, and connect with fellow book lovers! All formats are welcome: physical books, ereaders, ebooks, audiobooks, etc.

Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed, so feel free to bring a holiday treat to share.

Liquid Mechanics is generously hosting us for free, so we kindly ask that you support them by purchasing drinks and food from their food truck (truck TBA) while you're there. We can't wait to see you and your book!
