Silent Book Club at the Museum of Flight

Need someone to talk to about your latest read? Or is your book just not taking off? Maybe you’re looking to reignite the joy of reading?

Whatever the reason, bring your current read and join Silent Book Club at the Museum of Flight’s Aviation Pavilion! This special event takes place in the three-acre, covered open-air gallery surrounded by 19 rare and historic commercial and military airplanes—an unforgettable setting for a group reading night.

Drop in after museum hours on Thursday, August 21, from 5–8 pm. This unique experience is free with RSVP and open to all readers.
We'll still have introductions and group reading time at 6:30 pm, but feel free to explore the space with your book in hand—it’s a great conversation starter! Or settle in wherever you’re most comfortable—seating is limited, so we encourage bringing a folding chair or blanket.

You can spend the evening reading or chatting, and if you're looking for a fun twist, challenge yourself (or a fellow reader) to complete a book bingo sheet, strike a pose in the photo booth, or grab a bite to eat from Dude'z Wood Fired Pizza truck.
