Welcome to the new chapter of Silent Book Club in Torrance, CA If you love reading, this is the group and event for you. Whether you're an avid reader or just looking to make some new bookish friends, this group and event is open to all.
We meet up weekly so please join us here and on Instagram so you don't miss future event details! There is no assigned reading and you bring your own book!
We are extremely excited to announce that this Saturday's 11/8 meetup will be at Mychal's Café! After visiting 30+ wonderful cafés and coffee shops in the surrounding neighborhoods, Mychal's Café ultimately stands out for being a social enterprise created by Mychal's Learning Place to provide people with developmental disabilities employment opportunities and the ability to display their talents.
We urge everyone to check out their Instagrams and to support them by stopping by their café whenever you can!

They also have a digital print and embroidery social enterprise that provides custom-printed T-shirts, mugs, etc.
How this 2 hour meetup works:
1 - 1:30 PM - We settle in and chit-chat
1:30 - 2:30 PM - We read silently
2:30 - 3 PM - We chit-chat and talk about what we read!
