Silent Tiger Book Club HK

Welcome to the Thematic Book Club session!

Our upcoming topic will be about China. We could explore its history, its people, current news, Chinese literature, and more. Our knowledge always manages to find a way to connect, ultimately giving us a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the same topic.

In this session, you're welcome to share your knowledge or experience related to the theme but you can also raise questions to initiate a discussion. All types of learning approaches are celebrated, whether it is from books, podcasts, websites, videos, or personal experiences.

07:30-07:45: Greetings!
07:45-09:00: Sharing and discussion
09:00: Free to stay to socialize or dismiss

Feel free to leave the materials you're reading or listening in the comment session, either you're joining us or not.

10:00-10:15: Say hi and briefly share something about the books we are going to read

10:15-11:15: Silent reading time

11:15-11:30: After reading chat

• If you’re late, please join the silent reading session first. We can catch up when the session’s over. :D)

• You can identify the group by spotting people with a book 📕.

I'm introducing a new RSVP rule for our bookclub due persistent last minute cancellations:
If you change your RSVP to "No" less than 24 hours before the event or do not show up on the day, you won't be allowed to join the next one.
Of course if you have a valid reason, DM me.
