Dive into the world of underwater photography with our introductory course designed for beginners eager to capture the enchanting beauty of the aquatic world. This course covers the basics of underwater photography, including camera settings, lighting, composition, and photo editing using Adobe Lightroom.

Course Structure:

• Virtual Classroom Session (6/11 – 6-8 pm): This session will start with an in-depth introduction to the fundamentals of underwater video, focusing on equipment selection, understanding underwater lighting, composition techniques, and the art of visual storytelling.
• Dive Sessions (Sunday, June 15 @ 9 am): Apply your new skills during two guided cold-water dives at Sund Rock ($25 entry fee required), capturing stunning footage that tells a story about your underwater experiences.
• Review and Editing Session: Conclude the course with a session dedicated to editing your footage using Adobe Premiere Pro. Learn how to piece together your shots to narrate your underwater journey best. You can download a free trial of Adobe Premiere Pro for use during the class.

Requirements:

1. Participants must be certified divers with recent experience in cold-water diving.
2. Must own a camera suitable for underwater use
3. Must have a computer capable of running Adobe Lightroom
