Silesia JUG #89 - Adam Bien - Serverless Java Patterns, Hacks and Workarounds

Details
Hello, JUGers!
We invite to 89th Silesia JUG. Our guest of honor will be Adam Bien!
Abstrakt: How to start a cloud project? What is the difference between a function and a microservice? Are synchronous functions an anti-pattern? How to structure a serverless Java application? What is the CI/CD pipeline? How do you test cloud applications? Plain VM, CraC, SnapStart or GraalVM? How do you cut a function? How to efficiently and productively implement Event-Driven Architectures? How much code can we delete after a cloud migration? In this offline-only JUG session, I will implement a CRUD serverless application, review the code, and answer all commonly asked questions. Your questions are highly appreciated and will be answered in real-time, at the code-level, as well.
It is a JUG meeting: questions + interactions are welcome and fun :-).
