Our energetic hosts, Alexandre and Aymeric, will welcome you and introduce ELCA and École 42. Then will comes two Talks 🎤 (40 minutes each).
🔹 Talk 1 – Antoine HUE - Lead Data Architect at ELCA Engineering (in French)
Antoine will present the Lakehouse architecture, which forms the foundation of today’s data platforms (Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake, etc.). The Lakehouse aims to be universal (supporting all types of data, workloads, and compute) and promotes interoperability. But how well does it live up to that promise?
🔹 Talk 2 – Oleg NENASHEV - Lead Developer Advocate at Gradle Inc. (in English)
In this session, Oleg will show how to build realistic test environments using Testcontainers, WireMock, and Gradle in a Java+Quarkus setup — with Python examples too! He’ll also demonstrate how to generate fake data using libraries like Faker and Synthesized.
