Claude Code is powerful, but most engineers don't know how to integrate it into their actual workflow. They try it once, get confused about context, or end up reviewing poorly-scoped changes. The result: they revert to manual coding because the friction isn't worth the speed gain.
The Session
This is a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to use Claude Code as a workflow tool—not a replacement for your judgment. You'll work through real scenarios: exploring unfamiliar codebases, turning feature requests into implementation plans, drafting code and tests, and knowing when Claude Code is worth using versus when you need to steer.
You'll Learn- How to set up Claude Code and give it the context it needs to be useful
- How to explore an unfamiliar repository without losing oversight
- How to turn a feature request or bug into a working implementation plan
- How to review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability
- Which tasks are high-leverage for Claude Code and which require caution
- Prompt patterns that fit into existing Git, code-review, and CI/CD workflows
Who This Is For
- Software engineers and developers looking to improve day-to-day workflow
- Engineering managers and technical leads evaluating Claude Code for teams
- Data, platform, DevOps, and QA engineers
- Technical product managers who work closely with codebases
- Career-transitioning professionals with foundational coding experience
Prerequisites
- Comfort using a terminal and Git
- Familiarity with at least one programming language
- A laptop with a development environment installed
- Optional: a personal practice repository to work in
Format
90 minutes of interactive instruction with hands-on exercises. An optional 30-minute extended lab or Q&A follows for those who want deeper practice or discussion.1 attendee

You don't need to abandon your expertise to build AI-powered products. The best leverage comes from taking what you already know—your judgment, your relationships, your domain experience—and using AI to turn your recurring problems into products others will pay for.
In this session, Scott Simson (AI Marketing World, AI Mavericks) walks through a framework that's already working for professionals and entrepreneurs: Protect your expertise, Automate the friction, Multiply by packaging solutions for others.
You'll Learn- How to identify what's defensible about your expertise (your "moat") in an AI world
- Where vibe coding fits: describing what you want in plain language, iterating with AI, and letting the system handle the implementation
- A repeatable path from identifying a friction point in your work to building a product others have the same problem with
- Real examples: marketers building custom tools, operators automating internal workflows, SEO experts turning expertise into software
Who This Is For
- Job seekers and professionals who think "I'm not technical, so I can't build"
- Experienced operators looking to create career optionality or side leverage
- Anyone with domain expertise who's hit the barrier of "I need a developer to build this"
Who This Isn't For
- People looking for a live coding walkthrough or technical deep-dive
- Developers seeking advanced AI engineering content
Format
This is a conversation and framework session, not a live coding walkthrough. Scott will walk through the mindset and structure, share how professionals are using this approach, and answer your questions—but you won't see an application being built in real-time. Bring your thinking, not your laptop.
What Happens Next
At the end, you'll be invited to join AI Mavericks—a community of professionals and builders who are shipping products this way, sharing what works, and thinking about AI as a career tool, not a replacement skill.About Scott Simson

AI is reshaping work. But most professionals don't know where to start. Do you build an agent to improve your job search? Automate repetitive work in your current role? Or create a side project to generate income?
The Session
In this webinar, Albert of Albert's List walks through how professionals across different situations are using vibe coding and AI agents to move faster, land better roles, and create leverage. You'll see:- What "vibe coding" actually is (and why it works for non-technical builders)
- Why agents matter at work, and what they actually do
- Real examples: job seekers building search tools, operators automating workflows, builders shipping side projects
- How to pick the right path for your situation
This isn't a technical tutorial. It's a framework for deciding what you should build and why.
Who This Is For- Job seekers who want to differentiate themselves and move faster
- Professionals in roles who want to automate friction
- People interested in building a side project or consulting practice
What Happens Next
At the end, you'll vote on what you'd actually build. Based on community demand, we'll announce workshops and training in the areas that matter most to our audience.1 attendee
