Comedy discussion & writing meetup

Curious to do some serious comedy writing? Or some comedy with serious writing? Or just come up with jokes? Then this meetup is for you.

The focus of this meetup would be to get together, to spend time doing some creative comedy writing and share our work for some laughter and fun.

This will be an open forum for folks, ranging from complete novice (like me) to experienced comedy writers and stand-up comedians, to share comedy material, writing skills and approaches. One of the goals would be to have a healthy, encouraging and fostering environment to help comedy skills to bloom.

Rough topics for this meetup session:

• Sharing and try out of individually written comedy material
• Sharing Storytelling themed comedy bits
• Writing exercises
• Discussion on comedy premises
• Game of Quiplash
