SVEC™ is the largest umbrella organization of engineering societies in Silicon Valley. SVEC promotes engineering education to K-12, college and graduate students in the Bay Area and offers STEM Student Scholarships and the Keeper of the Flame award for teachers. SVEC also administers the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame that recognizes extremely accomplished engineers who's inductees are presented annually in February at the Engineers Week Banquet and Hall of Fame Ceremony.

Ronjon Nag, PhD, 2024 Inductee
Ronjon Nag is an inventor and entrepreneur, an Adjunct Professor in Genetics at the Stanford School of Medicine and a builder of AI systems for over 40 years. As founder of R42 Group, he has been inventing and investing at the intersection of AI and medicine. Professor Nag has a Ph.D from Cambridge, an M.S from M.I.T and a B.Sc. from Birmingham in the UK. Dr. Nag is a 2024 inductee to the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame.Chandrakant D. Patel, PE, 2014 Inductee
Chandrakant Patel was Senior VP, Chief Engineer and HP Fellow at HP Labs and a Silicon Valley contributor for 42 years. He is a recognized leader in AI, energy efficient computing, and sustainability. Chandrakant holds 165 US patents and has published more than 150 papers. With deep passion for fundamentals, and workforce development, he has also served as adjunct faculty in engineering at UC Berkeley, San Jose State, Santa Clara University and Chabot College for two decades. Suhas Patil is founder and retired Chairman of Cirrus Logic Inc. and cofounder of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), with 60 chapters worldwide. He founded Cirrus Logic, Inc. in 1981 based on an innovative fabless model for a semiconductor product company. He received his B. Tech (Honors) in Electronics and Electrical Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 1965. He earned his ScD degree in Electrical Engineering at MIT in 1970.
