The evolution of Internet Identity

In this inaugural Silicon Valley IAM User Group meetup we will discuss the evolution of Identity federation standards from Microsoft Passport, SAML, CAS, OpenID, Facebook Friend Connect, Yahoo BBAuth, Google AuthSub, Flickr Auth, OAuth 1.0/2.0, OpenID Connect and the future directions of single sign on.

Speaker: Prabath Siriwardena.

Prabath is the Director of Security Architecture at WSO2. He is a member of PMC Apache Axis and has spoken at international conferences including Numerous OSCON, ApacheCon, WSO2Con, EIC, IDentity Next and OSDC. He has more than 10 years of industry experience and has worked with many Fortune 100 companies and published three books, including "Advanced Security API" with Apress and "Mastering Apache Maven 3" with Packt. He is a member of several OASIS Technical Committees, including the ones for XAMCL, SAML and Identity in the Cloud.
