On Wednesday, August 8, 2025 Silicon Valley Rainbow Rotary is pleased to host Izzy Sanchez (he/him) who will talk about his recent event, The Celebration Pool Party.

About the speaker
Izzy Sanchez, is the Event & Catering Sales Manager at Holiday Inn San Jose Silicon Valley. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, he is an expert in guest services, event planning, and sales and marketing.

He currently serves as the Board Secretary for the Rainbow Chamber of Commerce of Silicon Valley. He holds a degree in Hospitality Management from Mission College and is pursuing a Bachelor of Tourism with a focus on hotels and resorts.

Izzy is involved in a diverse range of events throughout the year, including small meetings, conferences, dinners, dances, and galas. He takes particular pride in his LGBTQ+ events, as he believes they play a vital role in fostering community, acceptance, and inclusivity. Given the current social climate, it is especially meaningful to provide a safe and welcoming space for our community members. He is especially proud of his role in the community and grateful to work for an organization that values culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion—principles he believes are essential for great leadership.

Izzy will talk about his recent event, The Celebration Pool Party, that he orchestrated in collaboration with exceptional vendors and talented performers, creating an enjoyable and impactful experience for our community.
