In this Wednesday's meetup, I’ll present a double feature on Google Meet at 7 PM PST/10 PM EST that starts with a great standard intro -- Startup Basics for Coders -- followed by Special Presentation D -- How to Get Investors.
Startup Basics for Coders presents the 15 phases of going from (Phase A) being a coder with a regular day job to (Phase 0) you run your startup full time and is even helpful and interesting to coders looking for their first coding job who have no interest in starting their own startup (yet). If you have no idea what you are doing, this is a great roadmap. And it's presented at every meetup!
D: How to Get Investors is Special Presentation D which shows you:
- how to organize your own finances and stay afloat while pitching to investors
- how investors reduce risk to avoid a bad investment
- how to create a successful pitch to investors
- how to deal with cofounders, lawyers and incorporation
Special Presentations are the special content that is shown this week and is different from week to week. There are four special presentations: A, B, C and D.
This is all-new, super-practical information for startup beginners from a 25-year veteran of Silicon Valley as both a software engineer and startup expert. This is not selling you anything: all my courses are free and I don't sell coaching or legal services.
I plan this Meetup to be 30 minutes but scheduled it for 45 in case that I go over.
There is a limit of 25 attendees.
