********We meet in front of the Union hotel in Occidental. We will drive up to the very hidden property in the redwoods from the Hotel.

  • Our first stop will be to walk & explore the ancient & huge trees hidden in this private grove. This unique forest has the ability to create it's own weather. One of the trees has a small colony of little Brown Bats. Hopefully they will be home for us to see, hear & photograph.

***NOTE: The new baby Clouded Leopard has arrived. Unbelievably adorable. He was Only 4 pounds. See him up close. But he is about 30 lbs now & has his own playground. They grow up fast!. Don't even think of missing this amazing experience !
From here we will travel a short way to the hidden Sanctuary of 18 unique & endangered Wildcats. This is not a zoo. You will be up close & may even partially interact & with one of the Cheetahs.
The last last new baby Cheetah came to them just before Covid shut things down. (Bummer) The baby has now grown up .

You will learn much about these awesome beautiful animals.
Such as: The cool Fish cat. The amazing Ocelot, The most beautiful Snow Leopard & many more fabulous wildcats.
Following our guided educational & photo tour we will break for a light wine luncheon. I'm sure many of you will have questions.

NOTE: A new baby has arrived ! Its an adorable mini Sand Cat from the Sahara Desert area. He was 1.5 lbs. & now is a whopping 4.5 lbs. And looks like Yoda when his ears are down. Experience an up close visit with this shy wild cat. ****Plus don't miss the new young Clouded Leopard. A real bouncing ball of energy. And also the jumping jelly bean black Leopard.
